“If you are not a master of understanding, you will not grasp all truly think and consider. For a man of understanding, he will make sure to receive and share all that is beneath him, for a master he will undoubtedly embrace.”- Trcule Le Tigre

INTRODUCTION

If you are a manager or if you are planning to apply management skills in business you will probably have to learn the concepts of project management.  The term “project management” is not very common in the business circle.  In fact the only project in the corporate and business world is project completion.  New projects are being created, established, staffed and managed project.   Every job related function in an enterprise or department in an organization that has to go on project for at least 4 hours for a project management professional, he/she will have to take on more responsibilities as a whole, and a deeper understanding of how things work. As on a PRINCE2 Course Belfast qualification.

MILESTONE

“Establish, build, protect and nurture projects that are optimized toward progress toward consumers’ and stakeholders’ full-time and future success. When projects are further achieved, the benefit is to the whole of the organization reaching its vision of business success.”

– Project Industry Association

A project manager leads a team to ready a project that is deemed suitable, feasible and efficient and that has the passion to reach the goals that the manager and/or the project management team make.

Project Management is the growth of an organization’s talent to perform the only function under which an organization thrives. Are you tough enough or tough enough to handle projects?

Production gives back a living to the corporate get-rich-quick ( boiled down to everyone in this world )  dream that most businesses achieve that they started with.

For a project to be successful, the project manager has to make sure that project owner and his or her respective stakeholders agree to the project objectives and are properly committed to making it happen.

The project manager is the leader. He needs to make sure that the messages about the project he is handling are passed down at all levels of the organization to maintain their commitment to the project.

CEOs are those managers who have direct access to the CEO and take actions to make decisions for the company. The CEO would not be able to make the kind of decisions that translate into profitability without having and vested, in some way, in the project.

C-level executives can make decisions for the entire organization and make those decisions also at the local and regional level. They can also bestow broad responsibilities on the project management team.
