The popular manga series — Attack on Titan — produced by the talented Japanese artist Hajime Isayama is all set to finally come on screens with season 4. Where fans are excited to know what will happen in the new season, they are a little sad as, according to Hajime, there is only 1% remaining of the manga. Nevertheless, the producers and creators have finally learned a lot about the execution of the manga in this prolonged time. We all watched the trailer suited up in the Attack on Titan Jacket, no?

The story shows a world where people live in humongous walls to stay safe from enormous human flesh-lover creatures known as Titans. The main protagonist of the manga series is Eren Yeager, a young boy who is seeking revenge from the Titans after they attacked and destroyed his home town, resulting in the loss of his mother. He then became a part of the city’s military force — Scout Regiment — out of two other regiments named Garrison Regiment and Military Police Regiment.

He then starts to get rid of those creatures, but his curiosity to see the outside world increases even more as time passes. He made this his goal in life and devoted the rest of his life fighting off the Titans. Many interesting encounters have happened between the two giants, Regiments and the Titans, and they are coming back. So, let’s see what we know about season 4 of the manga until now. 

Release Date:

Real Attack on titan fans knows how inconsistent the release dates of this show are. The first season was released in 2013, which was too early. The release of anime episodes was too close to the manga episodes that they even waited to release a new manga episode to continue the anime. 

The gap widened to the extent that the fans waited four years for season 2, which had only 12 episodes. Season 3 came soon after season 2 and ended in July. Now, two years have passed till then, and season 4 is finally released on the 7th of December. So, brace yourselves; the action is about to begin!

As the last season ended, we saw that Survey Corps came to know about the reality behind the world of Eren and also discovered his basement. They were a time when they got overcome by Eldia, but as the war started, The Great Titan War, Marleyans took back their land from the occupation of Eldia. It was also the country where many characters, including Annie, Grisha, Bertholdt, and Reiner, used to live. It is reported that Survey Corps will visit and say a ‘Hi’ to their opponents soon. 

Survey Cops vs. Marley:

Until now, we have seen some very intense battles between Eldia and Marley. But as Survey Corps have finally come to know who their real enemies are, everyone is so excited to see the fight between Survey Corps and Marley. The trailer of season 4 has already created the hype with some shots of the battle between the two. Eren was seen busy with War Hammer Titan, the debuting titan, while the other Survey Corps crew, Connie, Mikasa, Jean, and others, are seen trespassing the territory of Marley. 

Well, there are a lot of changes made in their appearances after the third season. There are also many titans who have become a part of the clan, from Colossal Titan to Jaw Titan. You might not be able to identify Jaw Titan, though, as it looks nothing like the one that Ymir acquired.

MAPPA Studio Has Taken Over:

Wit Studio is not going to animate season 4, according to the reports. MAPPA is now in-charge of this anime series. That is why the trailer of the fourth season looks so contrasting from the previous ones. People have agreed that MAPPA has tried to stay with the manga more than Wit Studio. Nevertheless, it looked as beautiful as ever.
