One way to reduce the carbon footprint effectively is to reduce energy consumption.

A pool heat pump is a recommended solution to become greener. With full inverter technology, the INVERBOOST pool heat pump is equipped with a variable speed compressor that could adjust hertz by hertz and a multi-speed fan. The pool heat pump chooses the speed of operation between 20% and 100% of its max power. Its high COP and low noise benefit customers and upgrade the swimming experience to a new level.
In the beginning, the inverter pool heat pump will heat the pool with full capacity to the desired temperature. After that, the pool heater works with 50% capacity on average to maintain a comfortable pool temperature.

In addition, when maintaining the desired pool temperature, the average noise level of the INVERBOOST pool heat pump at a 1-meter distance is around 40 dB(A), which is much quieter than an on/off pool heater. It is so quiet that you may forget it is running and relaxing in the swimming pool. Also during this period, it reaches high COP up to 16, which is super-efficient, while the COP of most on/off pool heat pumps is about 4 or 5. It is a revolution of technology that saves much more operation cost and energy. Therefore, on the other hand, it makes a contribution to the global environment when it is saving money.

More features of INVERBOOST pool heat pump:

1. Seasons operation with intelligent defrosting function down to -20 degree which brings customers extended swimming season. It is not a dream anymore to enjoy the4 season Inverter pool heat pump swimming pool from spring, autumn to winter (with pool cover) with the help of the INVERBOOST pool heat pump.

2.No peak loads, the pool heat pump works dynamically to heat pool water as per the real-time heat demand. It is not the same story for the on / off heat pump. It will create a much higher start current than the nominal and this causes power overloads and voltage drop and trip.

3. Intelligent 3 working modes: Turbo, Smart, Silent for different conditions. By turbo mode, the unit could achieve an extra 20% heating capacity and fast heating.
Smart mode, dynamic working to maintain the pool temperature. In silent mode, the unit achieves the highest energy efficiency and ultra-silent operation.

4. User-friendly touch display with intuitive real-time display of water temperature and more functions like timer setting, data checking, and setting. 5/ Aluminum or ASA material cabinet which is rustproof and UV resistant. 6/ Hidden screw design, more exquisite compared with many other entry-level pool heaters in the market with obvious screws. 6/ Titanium heat exchanger in high quality and performance, compatible with salt pool water. 7/Built-in WIFI function. With ALSAVO PRO APP, you could control your pool heat pump anytime and anywhere. The APP is 10 languages available.

How to clean the pool heat pump?

Clean your pool heat pump

An INVERBOOST heat pump is a great investment in your home’s life. You want to ensure you protect and keep it in the best way like any other asset.
That means we need to clean it and do regular maintenance. This will not only make sure it works well but also extend its lifetime. But how to clean it without damaging or interfering with it? To help you save much money on electricity bills and top performance for several years, here are some tips on how to clean and protect your INVERBOOST UX pool heat pump.

How to clean pool heat pumps?

Before we get into the dirty, it is good to know how the heat pump works. Did you know that these pumps don’t generate heat? They do this by drawing heat from the outside environment and then distributing it to the pool instead. With these points, let us go into simple things you can do to ensure it is working properly.
How to keep your pool heat pump clean
Make sure no walls and plants will hinder air from moving into the machine, there is enough airflow around the pump, this is very important, even partial blockage will make it works overtime, which means more money and energy.

Clean the coil

This is a simple endeavor and doesn’t need special material.
Shut our INVERBOOST UX pump off at the main switch or the circuit breaker and use an air sprayer with a nozzle to spray the coil’s external area from top to bottom. Do not use pressure to wash this, if greasy dirty is the problem, then you can use a mild cleanser, when spraying use a gentle approach. Please don’t use a lot of pressure, the coil’s fan can be bent.
Only use pure water, no cleaners or detergents. Recycled water is acidic, which is not good for the pump.
Experts recommend that you clean the vanes once per year and check the heat pump every month to see if more cleaning is required. This will help to keep the pump’s efficiency in moving heat to the swimming pools.

Clean the inner of the heat pump

When the INVERBOOST UX heat pump is still off, clean out any leaves and much at the bottom of the pool heat pump. Ensure you clean the side opening well so that raindrops go out quickly through the bottom and do not accumulate inside.

Get rid of debris from the pump’s air intake

Locate the pump’s air intake, this is very easy to spot, in our INVERBOOST UX pumps, the air intake is usually located on the top side or the whole side of it, take the vacuum cleaner and clean all debris from the areas.
After doing all these steps, you can keep your INVERBOOST UX heat pumps well and enjoy a comfortable swimming temperature during the whole year.

Installing a Swimming Pool Heat Pump

If you properly install and maintain your heat pump pool heater, it can easily last five to ten years or longer and maximize energy efficiency.

We recommend having a qualified pool professional or electrician install the pool heat pump. Especially for electrical wiring and hookups.

Heat pumps need plenty of air circulation and work best outside with plenty of clearance surrounding the unit with no obstructions. Take care in selecting the location for your heater; on level ground near a pool pump or filter and ensure that airflow is restricted. Your owner’s manual will specify in detail the proper clearance, where the heat pump goes in conjunction with your equipment, and the ideal location of the unit.

Here’s an example of a heat pump project progression. The 3 steps are phases of a swimming pool heat pump installation, and they are: Purchase, delivery, and Placement,

Purchase

Buying a heat pump is not overly complicated, but you want to size your heat pump correctly. If you are looking for a 20-degree temperature rise, go with the largest models for an average size pool. Smaller models may only give you a 10-15 degree rise during cooler weather.

Decide if you want any of the high-end features, such as the chill feature, which removes excess heat from the water, or want extra low temperature operation.

When you consider the wide array of heat pump models available, from over a dozen manufacturers, choosing just one can be difficult. Features such as digital display and self-diagnostics are common, as are Scroll compressors, titanium heat exchangers, or the ability to heat or cool the water.

Heat Pump Delivery

Heat pumps are delivered by a long-haul delivery company, and you must be present to inspect and sign for receipt. Inspect the unit by looking for any damage to the fins or cabinet, or any oily stains on the box that may indicate leaking refrigerant.

Be prepared for how heavy these are. Large pool heat pumps can weigh 350 pounds and are best moved by palette jack. Two strong people can carry it with two two-by-fours inserted through the palette, and another person to help steady it while moving. Heat pumps need to be kept upright at all times and could be damaged if dropped.

Placement

Heat pumps are easy to plumb, just one pipe going in and one pipe coming out. You will need some basic PVC plumbing fittings.

To prepare a location for placing the heat pump, consider this:

  1. Give air clearance of 18 inches on sides and back, and 36″ in front.
  2. Give vertical clearance of at least 60″ to prevent recycling air.
  3. Level an outdoor A/C pad or a concrete pad of 3-5 feet in size.
  4. Place the unit and rotate for easy plumbing and control access.
